In this comprehensive renovation project of an apartment in the center of Girona, we wanted to respond to a very specific vision of how to live in the city: with simplicity, comfort and a strong aesthetic sense. The apartment, conceived as a pilot apartment, has allowed us to explore versatile solutions that combine functionality and design, always starting from the clear premises that the client and his way of living set out for us: practical, welcoming and with attention to detail.
The intervention sought to generate open, bright and well-connected spaces, prioritizing an agile and efficient distribution. To reinforce this feeling of comfort and balance, neutral tones, natural woods and embracing textiles have been used, bringing warmth and serenity. The furniture has been carefully selected to complement the spaces, offering comfort and functionality without overloading the environment. All of this is accompanied by lighting designed to enhance natural light during the day and generate intimate and cozy environments at night.
The entire project breathes a very thoughtful balance between design and everyday life. Clean lines, continuous volumes and integrated solutions respond to a current but timeless aesthetic, which adapts to different lifestyles. Functionality has never been seen as a renunciation of beauty, but rather as a means to achieve a more conscious and fluid way of living.
With this renovation, we have not only renovated an apartment: we have created an urban housing proposal that connects with the real needs of those who want to live in the center of Girona with quality and style. A flat that serves as an example and starting point for future actions, where interior architecture is put at the service of well-being without forgetting identity and character.
